Welcome to The New Digital Cinema.

This is a blog about trends and counter-trends in media, entertainment and the moving image in particular, and how these changes will affect our lives, careers and businesses.  I’ll also take a look ahead towards new opportunities in media for those that can move quickly and be flexible.  Since media is being intermingled with communication, social networking and marketing, they will all be thrown into the mix.

I am filmmaker, consultant and speaker… as well as a recovering entrepreneur.

My past includes writing, directing and producing television and feature films, starting a mobile media technology company and taking it public, as well as speaking and consulting.
